Destroying the democrat party or individuals like Abhisit doesn't make Thaksin a better person with integrity. He wrote his own history himself .
He is but a cowardly criminal with money on the run from justice.
It takes a while but the world is slowly fine tuning on yet another small time Asian criminal who made it to the top. He is unwanted in many countries now, the world is getting smaller and smaller.

If he can't rule Thailand, he wants it burned...
Treason to the highest degree.

King Taaksin and The corruption TAXSIN (SIN because he used many trick, trying not to pay the TAX to his country) are very very different.

TAXSIN is a shit man. He is very clever to promote himself to the poor people that he wants to help pulling them from the poor life. But, in the fact, he changes many laws to fit with his personal interest.

All worst things in Thailand comes from TAXSIN and his corruption government. This guy is so arrogant to think that he can be a new president of Thailand instead of King of all thai people.

He doesn't know what is the good thing that he MUST do. The power and money distort his attitude. He did bad things, he will get the bad result to him and his family in return.

To all Taksin haters, after reading this (I insist) please feel free to junp off the building. Cheer!

Historical Profile of The Democrat Party and Thai Politics

The Democrat Party was formed in April 1946 to stand in opposition to the government of Pridi Phanomyong. The party was set up when political rivalry was seen among people staging a revolution to topple absolute monarchy in 1932. Then-party leader, Khuang Aphaiwong, was a close associate of conservative leader Luang Phibulsongkram (Pleak Phibunsongkram) who fought against Pridi and his Liberal civilian group called the Free Thai Movement.

In the eay rlyears, the Democrat Party could not be regarded as a pro- democracy party, but instead was driven by the need to stage a military coup in 1947 to topple the government of Luang Thamrongnawasawat (Thawan Thamrongnawasawat), one of Pridi’s allies.
Pridi went overseas on exile and his opponents began a movement to smear his name. He was even accused of masterminding the death of King Ananda Mahidol.[1]
Despite accusations such as this, Pridi’s reputation in the international community remained stronger than that of the coup leaders, notably Pibulsongkram.
Then Democrat Party leader, Khuang, had to act as a front for the 1947 coup leaders to form a government.
The 1947 coup was a remarkable event in Thai political history because it ended the chapter of “constitutionalism” and the very spirit of the 1932 revolution. The coup’s interim constitution reinstated some people in the monarchy, while Royalist Khuang brought former aristocrats into his cabinet. [2] Just like many of the Democrat Party members did for the 2006 military coup, Khuang and his party defended the 1947 coup as a necessary evil for national interest.[3]
However, the first ever Democrat-led government was short-lived. After five months in office, Khuang was threatened with violence and resigned.
Marshall Phibunsongkram subsequently became prime minister, and the Democrats stood in opposition to Thailand’s military-run governments until 1975.
The Democrat Party even had to step out of the political field between 1958 and 1968 because the then premier Marshall Sarit Thanarat, who also joined the Democrats in supporting the 1947 coup, had banned political parties.
The Democrat Party re-established itself and returned to the political scene in October 1968 when prime minister Marshall Thanom Kittikachorn, who took the office after Sarit died, allowed the existence of political parties.
In the 1969 elections, Democrats won 57 seats, coming second to Thanom’s Saha Prachathai, which got 76. Thanom was elected as prime minister, while the Democrat Party stood in the opposition.
In 1971, Thanom staged a coup to scrap the constitution and abolished the parliament and also prohibited political parties. The Democrats were again given a chance to enter politics after the 1973 student uprising to topple Thanom.
In 1975, the party won by a majority and got the chance to form a government. The party leader Seni Pramoj took over as prime minister, but his Cabinet was never able to get parliamentary approval for its policies, which forced him to step down. Then his younger brother Kukrit Pramoj was given a chance to take over as premier even though his Kitsangkom Party had only 18 seats in the parliament. However, Kukrit managed to form a majority by merging with other parties, including Chart Thai.
In January 1976, conflicts forced Kukrit to dissolve the parliament and the Democrats won again in the April 1976 elections. Seni formed the government, which lasted less than six months this time, because the military, in collaboration with ultra-rightist politicians, launched a crackdown against the student movement of Thammasat University and staged a coup on October 6, 1976. This ended one of the most democratic periods in Thai political history.
Facing the ultra-rightist movement, the liberal Democrats party looked like it had central left leanings. Many liberal members of the party such as Chuan Leekpai were labelled as leftist politicians, even though he had never gone that way. So, Chuan was forced to go keep a low profile for a while.
Once the military took over in October 6, 1976, the Democrat party changed its stance from being conservative and supporting the military to becoming its main opponent. Some members even called themselves pro-democracy icons.
The Democrat Party found new life in the 1979 elections, even though there were no political parties as such and only individuals were elected into the House of Representatives. Members of the Senate were selected mainly from the military and the bureaucracy, while the cabinet was formed under military guidance.
General Kriangsak Chomanand then exploited the military-backed Senate to take over as premier. Once again, the Democrats stood in opposition, and the Thai government became what could be considered semi-democratic.
In 1980, when Kriangsak was forced to step down due to economic problems, the Democrat Party was invited to join a coalition created by former army chief General Prem Tinsulanonda.
When the Political Party Law was approved in 1981, the Democrat Party reformed and took its current shape. However, it had to make do with half-baked democratic notions under the Prem regime, with no chance to steer the country anywhere near true democracy. Even when the party won the majority of 100 seats in the 1986 election, the then-party leader Pichai Rattakul pushed to have Gen Prem take over as prime minister.
Prem, who is currently President of the Privy Council, has maintained good relations with the Democrats.
Democrats benefited from the 1992 uprising when the party, under the leadership of Chuan, took a clear position to oppose the 1991 coup and fully support the people rising up against the military junta and Suchinda Kraprayoon’s government in 1992.
Guided by Chuan’s political skills, the party had the chance to lead two coalitions in 1992 and 1997 when Gen Chavalit Yongchaiyud was forced to step down due to economic failure after the 1997 financial crisis.
However, the Democrat leader’s poor economic performance between 1997 and 2001 brought the party’s downfall – it was defeated by Thaksin Shinawatra’s Thai Rak Thai party. Since then, the Democrat Party has been sitting in the opposition seat, even after Thaksin was toppled in the 2006 military coup.

Thaksin has, for two decades, unjustly and corruptly enriched himself, stolen from the Thai, and has generally enjoyed a life based on corruption. In recent years, whilst holding office as the Prime Minister of Thailand, he has turned a blind eye to mass homicide of innocents and has engaged in urban terrorism in Bangkok and elsewhere contrary to the fundamental principles of a democracy. Lastly, when the writing was on the wall he chose to run rather than face the consequence of his actions. Thaksin is an evil man, do not be deceived by his slippery and often grandiose motherhood statements about DEMOCRACY, it’s all just an act, he is a criminal and evil.

KING TAKSIN : WARFARE AND NATIONAL REVIVAL
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\KING TAKSIN WARFARE AND NATIONAL REVIVAL.mht
KING TAKSIN : WARFARE AND NATIONAL REVIVAL : WARFARE AND NATIONAL REVIVAL, [ 1767-1782 ]
After the shattering defeat which had culminated in Ayutthaya's destruction, the death and capture of thousands of Thais by the victorious Burmese, and the dispersal of several potential Thai leaders, the situation seemed hopeless. It was a time of darkness and of troubles for the Thai nation. Members of the old royalfamily of Ayutthaya had died, escaped, or been captured by the Burmese and many rival claimants for thethrone emerged, based in different areas of the country. But out of this national catastrophe emerged yetanother saviour of the Thai state : the half-Chinese general Phraya Taksin, former governor of Tak. Within afew years this determined warrior had defeated not only all his rivals but also the Burmese invaders and hadset himself up as king,

Since Ayutthaya had been so completely devastated. King Taksin chose to establish his capital at Thon Buri[ across the river from Bangkok ]. Although a small town, Thon Buri was strategically situated near the mouthof the Chao Phraya River and therefore suitable as a seaport. The Thais needed weapons, and one way of acquiring them was through trade. Besides, foreign trade was also needed to bolster the Thai economy, which had suffered extensively during the war with Burma(now Myanmar). Chinese and Chinese-Thai traders helped revivethe economy by engaging in maritime trade with neighbouring states, with China, and with some Europeannations.

King Taksin's prowess as a general and as an inspirational leader meant that all attempts by the Burmese to reconquer Siam failed. The rallying of the Thai nation during a time of crisis was King Taksin's greatestachievement. However, he was also interested in cultural revival, in literature and the arts. He was deeplyreligious and studied meditation to an advanced level. The stress and strain of such much fighting and theresponsibility of rebuilding a centralized Thai state took their toll on the king. Following an internal politicalconflict in 1782. King Taksin's fellow general Chao Phraya Chakri was chosen king. King Taksin's achievements have caused posperity to bestow on him the epithet "the Great".,

King Taksin the Great, one of the most famous warrior figures in Thai history,
founded the Thonburi Kingdom in what is now part of Bangkok
