Although a highly accomplished academic, Jonathan Zittrain can speak to humanoids and has brought a number of practical advancements to the Internet. (Both are very rare qualities among academics)
He acts as Co-director of Harvard’s Berkman Center for Internet and Society and was previously Professor of Internet Governance and Regulations at the Oxford Internet Institute. Zittrain has served multiple US government departments, founded StopBadware.org and written The Future of the Internet and How to Stop It.
One of his current projects, Herdict, tracks Internet censorship in real time.
He holds degrees in cognitive science and artificial intelligence from Yale University, and a J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School.
