Social Media in China and across Asia

How big is Social Media? (A video interview)

Jun 10, 2010

While in Sydney last week to chair the Web 3.0 conference, Sam North in the Ogilvy office cornered me for a “Red Chair” interview about the future of Social Media.

We spoke about the evolution of Social Media and how companies should assess whether to get involved.

  • Awesome - I applaud this video - I'm in the trenches here in Southern China developing Social Media packages for foreigners engaging their home markets as well as those seeking to develop a SM presence within China. You've managed to articulate much of what I fumble with daily in conversations about social media. I actually work much of my learnings about social media into traditional marketing as well. I am always looking to engage my customer and learn from them in all the services I provide. Anyway thanks again for this video I'll stick it up on my blog :) Cheers! - David H
