Social Media in China and across Asia

Social Media in Asia Webinar, The Slides

Apr 7, 2010

Social Media Today recently invited me to present on the state of Social Media in Asia. Below are the slides that I presented along with those from fellow presenter Peter Auditore of SAP. Their blog links to an audio recording of the discussion, which had some great questions.

  • Hi,

I liked the ppt but you showed more about potential than results. I think we all know how big social media is an with tech savvy people like the Japs, Koreans and even Chinese their migration to social media is a given.

However what would have been interesting is why people are on SM and how to harness that power which BBC World called Super Power.

  • Hi Tyrone! Yes, you are right, it would have been fun to speak more about how to use Social Media. That is what I spend all my time doing. The problem is that for an introduction to Social Media in Asia people often want to get the landscape first. We can do the execution in Social Media next time! Tom
