Thu An lived in Ho Chi Minh City until she spent 6 years studying, living and working in New Zealand, graduated with a Bachelor of Communications from Auckland University of Technology then pursued postgraduate study in MSc in Public Relations at Stirling University in Scotland.
She returned to Ho Chi Minh City in 2007 and has been working at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide since on traditional PR work for clients such as American Express, UPS, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Government of Chile, Porsche Prestige Sports Cars, Kimberley Clarks, Taiwan Government External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) responsible for strategic planning and day-to-day account management.
Thu An is a member of Brand Academy that provides training services to clients such as FPT Corporations, Monsanto, and supporting internal training for Ogilvy Public Relations and T&A Ogilvy unit.
Thu An now is a practice head for Digital Influence unit and has been a social media champion for the office since late 2009. Thu An has worked on various Digital Influence projects for clients such as Unilever, L’oreal, Ford, Tiger Beer.
Thu An is a food & cuisine columnist for lifestyle magazines with a food blog and runs a food critic Facebook group.
