Reid Hoffman is founding CEO of LinkedIn – the serious person’s Facebook – and has been described as “the most connected man in all of Silicon Valley.”
After co-founding his own company – SocialNet.com – he served on the board of directors at the money transmission service PayPal. Hoffman is a pioneer of Web 2.0 and is director of diverse businesses including Mozilla, Vendio, Six Apart and Kiva.
Hoffman attended Stanford University studying symbolic systems and won great accolades, including a Dinkelspiel Award. He has also earned a master’s degree in philosophy at Oxford University.
