Greg McNamara

Greg joined the DI team in January 2011. He previously held internships in Louis Vuitton and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.

He graduated with a BA in Business and Marketing Management from Oxford Brookes University. He has always been interested in the psychology of different types of consumers, from a marketing angle, especially those of luxury goods. He is passionate about fully understanding all aspects of the luxury industry, especially in China.

Greg was born in Hong Kong and studied there until the age of 9, at which point he went to boarding school in England. He would come back to Hong Kong every few months and considers Hong Kong to be home.

He is extremely interested in contemporary and street art from 1980’s New York. He is also passionate about all types of music, however he confesses blues and “old school rock and roll” are his favorites.
