Emily joined Pulse Communications in February 2009 on her arrival back to Australia after working in Europe for 18 months.
Whilst overseas, Emily worked for European PR agency Hotwire PR on a number of b2b and consumer technology clients including, BlackBerry and Information Builders.
Prior to travelling Emily worked at Blackie McDonald where she worked across various business and consumer technology clients, including Philips Electronics, Panasonic, Lexmark, Sophos (IT Security) and Yahoo! Search Marketing.
At Pulse Emily currently works on a range of consumer clients including Xbox, VB, Carlton Draught, IAG Insurance and Engineers Australia. Emily’s area of expertise lies in delivering a compelling brand and product story to the consumer which resonates with their lifestyle, attitude and behaviour. Emily has a real passion for all things digital and through her years of experience in technology PR has a strong understanding of the internet. Most recently she has worked on Facebook activations for beer brands VB and Carlton Draught running campaigns and competitions to build the fan base of both clients online.
Highlights from her time at Pulse Communications include managing Xbox’s tailored stories PR program which involves developing and implementing the dedicated profiling media outreach strategy for Xbox. She also managed the Make it so public awareness campaign for Engineers Australia which aimed at changing people’s perception of the profession through both traditional and digital PR.
Emily graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with a Bachelor degree in Communications.
