Can a Foreign Correspondents’ Club exist without a bar? Apparently!

I started the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Facebook as a joke, but it has now grown to more than 2,800 members worldwide, including many eminent foreign correspondents.

The idea was to digitally create the equivalent of the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Hong Kong, Overseas Press Club of New York and Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Thailand, all clubs of which I am a former president or board member.

The idea has been to gather newspaper and other correspondents who cover international events. Current, former and aspiring foreign correspondents are welcome, along with those simply interested in how international news is covered.

Any ideas on how to improve it are very welcome!
