I am trying to advertise my English program on the internet in China. My website can’t be opened in China and together with a Chinese speaking friend we have been contacting various government offices in Beijing with no success. Does anyone know about the process for having a foreign website approved in China? Content is not the issue and perhaps this is a technical issue?

That stat IS useless without context. What if 98% of US links link to other US sites? — sounds plausible to me…

I find this stat meaningless without more context. What is the percentage from US sites? From German sites? From French sites? What about the language issues?
