I beleive hijab is more powerful tool rather then scarf. we can see the live and best example in sudia arabia, crime ratio is very low due to hijab and hijab can give more protection to a woman instead of scraf. what you think people

Hijab is compulsory for a Muslim women, Our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is quoted as saying: “…If the woman reaches the age of puberty, no part of her body should be seen but this and he pointed to his face and hands.”
Many Muslim women who lived in non-Muslim countries faced very problem to wearing Hijab.

It was difficult for me to begin wearing a headscarf when I first converted to Islam,as I had a professional job that traditionally was held by men. For several years, I had been going to my work place without a scarf and then one day, all of a sudden, I began wearing it. It was an adjustment for me and my co-workers. I live in the USA in a community where it seems I am the only Muslims, but I've grown accustomed to wearing the headscarves now.

The only time I feel apprehensive about wearing a headscarf is when I am at an affair attended primarily by non-Muslim and the focus is on me, as I am not conforming to their way of dress. I feel this way when I'm on vacation on an Island or cruise ship as well. Dressed totally covered up on a tropical island tends to draw attention to a person. Other than that, I enjoy wearing a headscarf.
