Very interesting and true, you'll come across more interesting stuff on twitter than on facebook. Although facebook does have some interesting stuff going for it, if you check out this list of bizarre facts on facebook: http://blog.socialmaximizer.com/10-bizarre-fact...

Damien's got a good point and I'd even go further to say "Facebook is Who you think you know and Twitter is What you thought you're the first one to know (when in fact you're probably not)."

That's an interesting study - and I can't help but agree. Twitter has been filling the empty void that Facebook has had for a very long time.

Facebook: WHO you know; Twitter: WHAT you know - sounds about right. It would be interesting to compare the number of clicks on links with these three platforms...

This makes sense. Glad to see some analysis done on usage of these networks. I find that there are many more opportunities to view additional information (links) and areas that may be of interest -- easier navigation on Twitter, range of those who we are following, and global reach. When I go to Facebook my attention is to reading the postings and comments, and viewing the pictures -- a personal circle and fewer clicks on the links. @vshimoyama
