I even think that HK actually has the fastest connection available (almost) anywhere and for ordinary mortals (cost less than 1000$/month I guess), when I used to live in HK I had the luck to have a 1Gb/1Gb connection by PCCW (for free, partly financed by HKU) and it's quite an another world.
