Hong Kong Voter Registration Sept 16

This just in from the US consulate in Hong Kong, alternately, register to vote online:

Wednesday, September 17, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., the U.S. Consulate will host a Voter Registration Day at the Consulate at 26 Garden Road, Central (across from the lower Peak Tram terminus). Please stop by to register to vote, update your voter registration information, or request an absentee ballot. Consular Section Officers will be available to assist you to fill out the Federal Post Card Application and will mail the forms to the United States at no charge.

Additionally, Representatives of Hong Kong Chapters of the League of Women Voters, the U.S. political parties, and the American Women’s Association have been invited to participate and advise Americans on how they can get more involved in the U.S. political process while living in Hong Kong.

If you are unable to come to Voter Registration Day tomorrow, you can register to vote or request an absentee ballot by going to the Federal Voting Assistance Program’s website at www.fvap.gov. For further information about voting in the November 4th United States general election, U.S. citizens can contact the Voting Assistance Officer by e-mail at acshk@state.gov or calling 2841-2211, 2841-2225 or 2841-2323.
