Nothing spellbinding if you ask me… We need to start talking about sustainable development. Stiglitz is just as clueless as anyone else over the future of the world economy. His insight is welcomed, but by no means more valid than your average NY Times reporter.

Again, I should mention that I do respect Stiglitz, but his expertise isn't in China, nor does it seem he has enough info to make any substantial comments on the matter.

Great “walking” interview with my favorite economist- I really enjoyed this post and found his three word answer quite amusing. Have to say that I agree with everything Stiglitz said here, although his reference to China's foreign aid in Africa could be debated, as investment outcomes from a socioeconomic perspective are not 100% positive.
I linked up to this interview on my blog- hope it brings a few new readers to your site, which I very much enjoy.
