Hans Rosling: The Rise of China

Hans Rosling, the Swedish academic made famous by his lively talks at TED (more than 1 million downloads), gives his take on how most of the world still has not understood the rise of China. Highly recommend seeing him perform/present. He is extremely lively and thought provoking.

  7. Natural aging. Even if you put Laptop Battery away and never use it, Dell xps m1530 battery will die one day. Let me explain things a little bit more. You have to understand that, it doesn’t matter how good you care about your , it will lose performance and one day it will die. Of course, your computer battery exploits will slow the process of aging of your replacement laptop battery. In warmer environments, while the laptop is used and your battery gets warm, your battery will drain energy quicker. For this reason, the number one rule is: Keep your notebook batteries cool.

  8. I have the pleasure to brief on our Data Visualization software “Trend Compass”.

TC is a new concept in viewing statistics and trends in an animated way by displaying 5 axis (X, Y, Time, Bubble size & Bubble color) instead of just the traditional X and Y axis. It could be used in analysis, research, presentation etc. In the banking sector, we have Deutsche Bank New York as our client.

I hope you could evaluate it and give me your comments. So many ideas are there.

You can download a trial version. It has a feature to export EXE,PPS,HTML and AVI files. The most impressive is the AVI since you can record Audio/Video for the charts you create.
