China Photos of the 19th Century

Nov 24, 2008

A quick chat with Dennis George Crow, collector of 19th century photographs of China, discussing trends of collecting old photography about China.

All the best 19th Century photographs of China are in the attics of Europe and the United States.

NOTE: Just realized this is a not the entire video! Most interesting part seems to have been cut off. Will see if it is still in my phone.

How would one go about viewing photographs of actual Chinese people. I'm quite interested in seeing some and, if possible, purchase some.
